From Friday 15 to Sunday 24 June 2018, whether it’s a gentle amble or an outdoor challenge there’s something for everyone in this year’s Moray Walking & Outdoor Festival. Voted one of the top 10 walking festival in Britain by The Daily Telegraph the festival also offers a whole lot more! From rowing to writing and surfing to cycling plus events that uncover the cultural, historical, archaeological, architectural, natural and landscape heritage of Moray. All events are held close to Grantown-on-Spey and the Cairngorms National Park.

EJ and Odin our resident Ospreys are back at Loch Garten, Capercaillie and Black Grouse are up early out on the leks and baby lambs are everywhere. The distilleries have re-opened for the season and The Spirit of Speyside Festival takes place 1-5 May 2014 with a some evening events taking place in Grantown-on-Spey. And there are lots of activities – the new Glenlivet Bike Trails are open, skiing is still underway at Cairngorm Mountain and the walking festivals get underway with the Aviemore Walking Festival from 11th May 2014. A new bike festival in the Cairngorms National Park is a free family day out and has something to offer everyone. A celebration of all things biking, the festival has a huge range of participation activities; a round of the Scottish Trials Bike Championships, a mountain bike race for all ages, a static road bike challenge, and the big airbag for practising your stunts! There are also lots of other fun family things to do, The Clan Stunt Display TEam, children’s inflatables, WATT bike cadence analysis, blend your own smoothie, retail stands, catering and much much more.
