Grant Arms Wildlife Book Festival 2019 – in association with BBC Wildlife takes place 15-19 April 2019. The festival includes a programme of walks and trips with wildlife guides and guest speakers, wildlife documentaries and talks by the authors about their books. Books can be purchased from “The Bookmark”, in Grantown on Spey.

Thunder in The Glens Friday 23 – Sunday 25 August 2019 Thunder in the Glens has become one of the major events in the UK for Harley-Davidson fans, with people travelling from all over the world to enjoy the 2-day event. With 3,000 bikers registering for the gathering it is now officially the largest Harley Davidson rally in the UK with an ever growing number of loyal fans. Riders enjoy the thrill of riding through the scenic mountains and glens, visiting highland towns including Grantown-on-Spey. Riders and spectators will experience world famous Scottish hospitality and a party to end all parties.
Motormania Sunday 1 September 2019 showcases around 500 classic cars in Grantown-on-Spey’s Square and High Street. There is always a great party atmosphere and if you love cars this event is not to be missed!
The 26th Annual Golden Spurtle World Porridge Making Championships takes place in Carr-Bridge just 20 minutes drive from Grantown-on-Spey on Saturday 12 October 2019. The world title is awarded to the porridge-maker deemed to have made the best traditional porridge using oatmeal, salt and water.
